The Student Alumni Association is looking for alumni interested in being mentors to students. The extent of the mentorship will be determined by each mentor/mentee and may include e-mail, mail, phone and face-to-face contact.

The Student Alumni Association Executive Board attended a national conference in Baltimore.
- The SAA and Campus Recreation co-sponsored the 20th annual Oozeball mud volleyball tournament in September on Greek Row. A record 144 teams competed in the event, which raises money for the SAA Sophomore Scholarship Fund.
- The SAA Executive Board attended the CASE Affiliated Student Advancement Programs national conference last summer in Baltimore. Jasmine Stewart received the Outstanding Adviser award, and the SAA won the Most Spirited Award.

- The SAA hosted Founders Day in October to recognize the University’s 114 years of excellence. Those attending enjoyed birthday cake and punch, and more than 500 students signed a birthday card.
